I love you mom!

Your mother is the only person in your life who loved you before she even knew you. Unfortunately, some people only realize how important their mother is when she isn't there anymore. Don't wait until Mother's Day to let your mom know just how much she means to you. Here are nine good reasons for taking some time out of your busy day to give your mother a call or even drop by for a visit.

1. You can talk to her about anything

No matter what's on your mind, your mother is always willing to listen. You can talk to her for hours about your problems and chances are she'll help you find some solutions. And you can tell her anything without worrying about being judged.

2. She cares about you

It might be slightly annoying at times, but try not to get so uptight when your mother asks where you've been, what you're doing and who you're doing it with. You are her child and she is simply showing how much she cares. And when you need her the most, she'll always be there to lend a helping hand.

3. She inspires you

Maybe you're impressed by the way your mother deals with problems and manages to overcome life's little hurdles. Or maybe she has achieved things that you want to achieve. And even if your mother has made some mistakes, you have the benefit of being able to learn from her and avoid making the same mistakes in your own life.

4. She gives the best hugs

Even if it's only been a couple of days since you last saw her, your mother will still give you the same big, warm hug she would give you after being separated for years. It's a wonderful feeling!
