Brazilian Rodrigo Koxa is now the official Guinness World Recordstitle holder for the largest wave surfed (unlimited). The wave measured 24.38 m (80 ft) and Koza rode it at Nazare, off the coast of Portugal.


He was awarded for the accomplishment at the Quiksilver XXL Biggest Wave awards by the World Surf League (WSL) at an event in California last weekend. Koxa now has his Guinness World Records prize to put alongside it.
